Sweet Welcoming dessert! Who can say no to this recipe?
- 1. Beat 1 egg + 1 yolk with 150 g (5.3 oz/ 1.2 cups) of raw cane sugar.
- Add 100 ml (3.2 fl oz/ 1 cup) of almond oil.
- 3. Add 350 g (12.3 oz/ 2.8 cups) of whole wheat flour (organic and stone ground if possible) + half a sachet of yeast and cinnamon to taste.
- 4. Mix with your hands and form a ball.
- 5. Place in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- 6. Divide the mix in two parts and use one part for the base, working it with your hands.
- 7. Add jam as you desire (we used a fig jam, with no added sugar and with figs from local trees).
- 8. Now comes the best part. Sprinkle the tart with the rest of the mix, crumbling it with your fingertips.
- 9. Put the tart in the oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 20-30 minutes and it’s ready! Easy and delicious.
