Oven Baked Tortilla chips and Guacamole
Ingredients for 2 servings
- 6 each corn flour tortilla cut in quarters 3 whole ripe avocado
- ¼ finely chopped red onion
- 1 sprig fresh cilantro
- ½ finely chopped jalapeno
- juice of 2 limes
- olive oil
- salt
PREPARATION
- Tortilla Chips:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the tortillas into quarters or sixths, depending on your preference.
- Spread the tortilla pieces out on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
- Once done, let them cool down before placing them in a large bowl.
- Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the chips and season with salt.
Guacamole:
- Slice the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
- Gently mash the avocados to your desired level of chunkiness or smoothness.
- Add the red onion, cilantro, jalapeno, lime juice, and salt.
- Stir everything together until well combined.
